4.   What do you do for a living?         Secretary at the Physics and Astronomy Dept., Asbestos inspector, Recycling consultant, baker, landlord, and I sell junk.
5.   Do you drive?         I love to drive.
6.   What do you do for joy?         Sex, reading, writing, cooking, mothering.
7.   What is your pet peeve?   And how much does it weigh?  Does it sleep by the door?  Is it housebroken?         Tail gaters, people who mind other peoples business.
8.   Do you write, paint or play?  All at the same time?  (While juggling a dozen eggs and riding a unicycle?)         I love reading most of all. I write but most of it is journal or small poems of the moment.
9.   Who is the most impressive character you've ever met?         Bill Hatke, but I have been allowed to meet some of my heros, William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, Ken Kesey, Tim Leary, David Ohle.
10.   Have you ever read, acted, performed, thrown up, etc. in public?         Yes, I have read my journal on occasions.
11.  What piece of literature or art moved your soul to ecstatic waves of bliss?         Blake's writings, too too many, my head is beginning to swirl. The introduction to Queer and Western Lands (by WSB) are some of my favorites but then I remember when I first read Hardy, devoured his available works by reading nonstop for a week.
12.  What was the first thing you ever encountered that made you realise that art is important?         A banjo player in my dad's living room when I was 8.
13.  Would you consider yourself an artist?  A good one?  Why or why not?         Yes, I am probably too sentimental.
14.  What are your favorite things that have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with anything else?         Romantic John Wayne movies, such as Shepard of the Hills, Stage Coach, etc.
15.  What are your favorite things that have ABSOLUTELY everything to do with everything else?         My present life, the acts of loving my husband and daughter and being loved and life being so full of joy.
16.  What's the meaning of life?         To move.
17.  Why?         It enriches our omeba content.
