instead of an a

Simply because
I like e better

This is
"chiefly a British variant"
(or so I'm told)

Which is
just fine with me
as I fancy myself
something of an Anglophile

However, I
don't spell words like
"color", "flavor" or "neighbor"
in the British style

Mostly because
I'm at best ambivalent
